Novemberfest
For the first time in the history of our gymnasium the holiday of the German language «Novemberfest» was celebrated and was attended by more than 500 students.
In the framework of the festival the presentation of Germany, the quiz "Who Knows German Best", round table discussions, the contest for the best newspaper, for the best knowledge of the German literature, the Olympiad for the 6-10-grade students took place.
Also, the school was visited by a native speaker Mr. Ian Illih, director of the language school in Berlin who spent two weeks conducting German lessons. Those lessons were very interesting and useful for the students.
The highlight of the festival was the final Christmas exhibition where the students presented self-made greeting cards, holiday wreaths, calendars and Christmas pastry. The effort of every student was awarded and the winners were awarded with certificates and gifts, and the most active participants received diplomas.
