Meeting with a Delegation from Estonia
The other day, in celebration of the Day of Europe, Kyiv hosted the XI International Conference of the Pedagogical Club of European Capitals on "Experiences and Prospects of Development of the European School Education Area." The participants who gather every year in different European countries discuss problems of the school education.
Scandinavian Gymnasium had the honor to host representatives from Estonia - Mr. Andres Payulu, the Head of the Department of Education of Tallinn and Mr. Rit Nommoyyu , the senior specialist in international cooperation projects. The students and school teachers of Scandinavian Gymnasium presented for the guests the «Viking" International Club and the "Model of the United Nations" International project. And the students who visited the Mustiyeysku school in October 2012 talked about their experience of staying at the partner school and in the capital of Estonia. During the meeting they exchanged the views on current problems of European integration. The result of the day was a wonderful concert prepared by our students.
The outcome the Conference was the Resolution of the Pedagogical Club of European Capitals which emphasized the need for further development of educational programs.
