Round-table Discussion
On April, 26 a round-table discussion “Urgent Problems of Education and Enlightenment in Scandinavia (by the example of Denmark): Realities and Prospects” took place in Scandinavian Gymnasium. Hanna Severinsen, a Europarliament Member, L. Shkorkina, a representative of the Worldwide Organization of Education (Russian division), N. Shugaliy, post-graduate student of the Nizhin State Pedagogical University, G. M. Sagach, Ph. D. in pedagogical sciences, professor, academician of three International Academies, coordinator of enlightenment problems, Ukraine-Denmark, teachers and 7-9 form students of Scandinavian Gymnasium took part in the round-table discussion.
The management of the gymnasium cordially welcomed the guests. An excursion and a presentation of the gymnasium were organized and the students showed their choreographic skills. The teacher of the Danish language O. M. Petrunko shared her own experience of studying the second foreign language (Danish) in one of the schools of Denmark. The objective of this conference was to find the ways of collaboration between Denmark, Russia and Ukraine in the area of education. The representatives of other schools told about education in other Scandinavian countries. The participants of the conference summed up their work and exchanged their experience.
