Presentation of the Favorite Book

On April the 6th, a "Presentation of the Favorite Book" lesson was held for the students of the 8B and 8D forms. The students learned about the history, origination and development of the Book, about the oldest, largest, heaviest, smallest, most popular publications. The most interesting part of the lesson was the presentation of students’ favorite works. The range of extraclass reading appeared to be quite broad: Agatha Christie detective stories, Joan Rowling and John Ronald Tolkien fantasy books, adventures, works by Alexandre Dumas and Anton Sanchenko, Frederick Forsyth, realistic novels by Charles Dickens and contemporary works of John Green for teenagers. Following the vote, "Vacation in Levant" by A. Sanchenko was selected for consideration in extraclass home reading lessons.
