International UN Model «ELUMUN 2017"

On April the 7th- 9th, 2017 Lviv warmly greeted students and pupils from different cities of Ukraine, Latvia and Estonia who came to take part in a unique educational event, the International UN Model «ELUMUN 2017". Scandinavian Gymnasium was one of the capital's two schools that visited that UN Model. Our team represented different UN member states, namely the Czech Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the State of Israel, the Italian Republic, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Chile, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia. Alexandra Rekunova, presenting Italy became the Best Delegate and defended the Security Council resolution, and Anastasia Pereverten’ presenting Egypt had the honor to present the resolution of the Human Rights Committee at the closing ceremony of the General Assembly.

After "ELUMUN 2017", we would like to thank the participants of the conference, most of whom travelled thousands of kilometers to participate in «ELUMUN 2017"; to thank the organizers that worked diligently to make those four days in Lviv unforgettable for us, and, of course, we are grateful to team leaders, who accompanied and assisted us in that saturated journey.
