The First Session of the Young People's Parliament
On December the 7th, on the day of the local government, in the session hall of Kyiv City Council the first session of the Young People's Parliament of the capital was held. Among the 108 delegates from Kyiv youth were our students Andriy Krut’ and Anna Kuzmina. The projects created by young people, including the ones proposed by Scandinavian Gymnasium, were considered in the session. The VIII Kyiv regional 'UN Model' conference was approved.
"In the previous work sessions of the children-youth parliament, the young delegates worked out the projects, and in this session discussed them and the urgent issues of concern to young people of Kyiv, including:
creating interactive maps of historical sites of Kyiv including children’s impressions;
providing modern and safe leisure in schools;
conducting enhanced career guidance in schools.
