MASU Scientific Conference
Early in December, an annual scientific conference of the Minor Academy of Sciences was held at Scandinavian Gymnasium. The event was attended by students, members of the “Erudite” scientific society, and their teachers. Inna M. Fursova, Deputy Director of Scandinavian Gymnasium, presented the achievements of our students at All-Ukrainian MAS competition in the 2015-2016 academic year. Anastasia Pereverten’, 8D, who joined the competition for the first time, told about her expectations, and our graduate student, Anastasia Shkvarok, 11B, shared the experience of her work at the Minor Academy of Sciences. The students of the 8 - 11 grades defended their research works in following sections: Ukrainian literature, history, law, archeology, sociology, foreign literature, creative writing, geography, English, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. During their presentations, the students demonstrated the ability to defend their works publicly. The best student works will be presented at the I (regional) stage of the All-Ukraine-Defense of MAS scientific researches which will take place in the near future.
