"About Europe in an Interesting Way" Intellectual Contest
On December the 2nd, Anastasia Prozhivalsky, Bogdan Chepurny, Catherine Nagorna, Darya Kapinus, Ekaterina Halushko, the students of the 7E form with their teacher I. Marko took part in the intellectual tournament "About Europe" held in Slavic Gymnasium. Five teams of Kyiv secondary schools participated in the tournament.
The students gave answers to various questions about the countries of the European Union: Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Lithuania, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Ukraine, France and Sweden.
The questions concerned the history and culture of these countries, their prominent figures, ethnographic peculiarities of state symbols.Congratulations to the students of Scandinavian Gymnasium who won the first place! In conclusion of the tournament the "Eurokids" song and dance competition took place. At the beginning of the event H. Bezhenar, the director of Slavic Gymnasium awarded diplomas to the participants.
