Young Guides in the Embassy of Hungary
On December the 10th the students of Scandinavian Gymnasium who participated in the project of the young guides visited the Embassy of Hungary in Ukraine. They were invited by Yulia Smelyanskaya, Director of the Institute of Jewish Studies.
Within the framework of the Hungarian Culture Week our students visited the exhibition "Synagogues of Eastern and Central Europe (1782-1944)."
Our young guides participated in the opening of the exhibition and met Mr. Ern Keshkenem, the Ambassador of Hungary to Ukraine. They were proposed a tour of the new exhibits in the Scandinavian Gymnasium. The students also tasted dishes of Hungarian cuisine.
We hope that learning the history and culture of the world will be another step in the spiritual growth of the young generation.
