Our pride
On March the 12th, 2015 the winners of the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian Subject Olympiads and Minor Academy of Sciences competition-defense of students’ scientific research works were awarded. In the 2014th- 2015th academic year, 64 students of our gymnasium won prizes in 13 subjects of the All-Ukrainian Subject Olympiads. 22 scientific research works of our students, members of the "Erudite" scientific society, won prizes at the regional stage of the competition- defense of MAS students’ scientific research works.
The most active were the students of the 9th- 11th forms. Prizes were awarded to A. Berezovsky, 8G, in 7 subjects; E. Fedorovskaya, 9A, in 5 subjects; N. Syuta, 11A, in 4 subjects, K. Heseleva, 11A, won three prizes as well as K. Ganganov and K. Boyko, 10V, and Y. Shcherbak, 9A.
Participation in competitions gives high school students the opportunity to test their knowledge in different subjects and to compete with students of other schools. And while working in the Minor Academy of Sciences the students acquire skills in writing scientific papers. The skills acquired will be useful in future at the universities.
Tetyana E. Pushkareva, the Headmistress of Scandinavian Gymnasium, wished the students new victories and achievements in other intellectual competitions.
