The week of UNESCO
UNESCO Associated Schools carry out an important function of secondary schools adaptation to the needs of the global information society and bring the culture of innovation and best practice into the education in our country. This UNESCO associated schools have to become the enlightened heart of Ukraine. In the framework of the week of UNESCO associated schools several events were held at Scandinavian Gymnasium. On November the 12th there was a master class on making the greeting card dedicated to the 60th anniversary of UNESCO Associated Schools Project in Ukraine.
The students of the gymnasium prepared a presentation on the activities of UNESCO in Ukraine and proactive UNESCO associated schools. The event was attended by teachers and students from the Engineering Gymnasium, Gymnasium # 261, schools #309 and 217. The students created the greeting card together.
On November the 13th our students Elijah Ioltuhovskyy and Vladimir Konoval with their teacher I. Marko participated in planting lime tree alley in the pre-school #704 yard. On November the 14th the "School Eurovision" song contest took place where bright bands and talented singers created a wonderful holiday atmosphere. We appreciate the efforts of O. Bondar and O. Smotrova, the teachers-organizers, and the student government which resulted in excellent organization and creative atmosphere.
