Meeting with the Ambassador of Norway

On December the 17th Mr. John Fredriksen Elvedal, the Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine, came to Scandinavian Gymnasium, visited lessons of the Norwegian language, met with our teachers and students.

The Ambassador was interested in the program and manuals, visited the library and was able to talk to the students. The honorable guest said that the study of Scandinavian languages provided new opportunities for each student in the choice of career, and the knowledge of Norwegian would help them to become competitive in the modern world.

Mr. Elvedal also promised to help with manuals and works of fiction in the Norwegian language. The administration of Scandinavian Gymnasium and our students congratulated the Ambassador on the forthcoming New Year and Christmas, and wished him health and success.
