Bells of Chernobyl
In April, 1986 the Ukrainian word "Chornobyl" came into different languages of the world. For all the mankind this word has become synonymous with the greatest environmental disaster. On the 25th of April lessons devoted to the Chornobyl accident which affected the environment around the world took place at Scandinavian Gymnasium.
The students of the 11A class told the students of the 8th-9th grades about a terrible tragedy of our people warning our young generation to be prudent and cautious towards nature. High school students explained the causes and the consequences of the events at Chornobyl. They carried out a survey on "What do you know about the accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant?". We hope that these lessons will remain in the memory of every teenager who is not indifferent to the fate of our planet. Keep in mind that there is no future without past!
