Trip to Berlin
From the 26th through the 31st of March the delegation of teachers and students of Scandinavian gymnasium led by Tetyana E. Pushkaryova, the Headmistress of the gymnasium, visited Berlin, the capital of Germany on invitation of the International Language School «Illg in Pankov». During a week the students perfected their knowledge of the German language under the supervision of Ian Illyg and Ingo Prado, the German teachers.
The meeting of teachers and students at the partner school of the Pankov district was interesting and fruitful. During the meeting joint lessons of German and English for Ukrainian and German students were given and a friendly match of football was played. Signing a new partnership agreement on cooperation of educational institutions was the outcome of the meeting.
The impressions of exciting excursions to Berlin and its suburb Postdam were vivid and unforgettable. The teachers and students visited the German Parliament - the Bundestag, the Natural History Museum, the "Mercedes Benz" exhibition, and Madame Tussauds museum, took a walk along the main streets and squares of the city.
The trip to Berlin, the capital Germany, turned out to be extremely eventful. Time flew very fast but, more importantly, the cooperation with German colleagues will continue: the teachers and the students are ready for more international educational projects.
