The Day of St. Nahum the Literate
According to the popular calendar December 14 is the day of Saint Nahum, the patron of mind and virtue. This holiday has come to us from the past because in ancient times the learning process began on that day. On the eve of the holiday the 3B form students invited the first-graders to the assembly hall to celebrate.
The children prepared interesting information, puzzles, tasks and interactive presentation about the Day of St. Nahum, and the first-grade students became active participants in the event. 1A pupils sang a song about the school and the school band "Spivanochka" sang a cheerful song, "I am an actress."
The students of the 3B form wished to all the school students:
Let the mind be of the good, And the goodness of God And the day for faith and warmth And the road sure to knowledge! |
