On December 6, 2012 the scientific-practical conference on the defense of JAS students’ research projects was held at Scandinavian Gymnasium.
The conference participants were students – the members of the Gymnasium "Erudite" Society, the children’s scientific supervisors, and the subject teachers.
The Deputy Headmistress of the gymnasium on scientific and methodological work I. Fursova reported on the work of the society and the students’ participation in the Junior Academy of Sciences competition in 2011 and 2012.
The December conference summed up the school phase of the students’ research projects defense competition. At the conference our young scientists demonstrated the ability to publicly present their research.
The defense took place at the panels on the Ukrainian language and literature, the English language, history, geography, biology, medicine, multimedia, educational and entertaining programs, physics, sociology, and literary works. The 8th grade students joined the competition.
The best students’ works will be presented at the first (district) phase of the All-Ukrainian JAS project defense competition.
