Cooperation: Ukraine – Poland
On the 10th-11th of October the Scandinavian Gymnasium Administration met with Teresa Martyniuk, the principal of Sopot High School (Poland ) and Marek Urbanski , the vice-principal. In the meeting they discussed the possibility for Ukrainian students to enter universities in Poland including Sopot High School (Sopot , Gdansk ). The guests told about their university, departments and forms of education, and answered different questions of graduating students and their parents.
It’s worth mentioning that at Sopot High School the Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish languages which are important for Scandinavian Gymnasium students are studied. It's almost the only university in Europe where, along with English and German, the students can improve their knowledge of Scandinavian languages. During the visit to our gymnasium Teresa Martyniuk, the principal of Sopot High School, and Tatiana Pushkareva, the headmistress Scandinavian Gymnasium, signed the cooperation agreement which specifies the way for further cooperation between the institutions.

In 2013 Scandinavian Gymnasium initiated the Polish language course for those who wish to enter universities in Poland.
